Vision plans for the whole family.
Annual eye exams, frames, lenses, and contacts, usually for less per month than a takeout lunch. In-network exams are typically covered in full.
At a glance
- Comprehensive annual exam covered in-network, including refraction and eye-health screening.
- Frame and contact allowances toward glasses or contacts each benefit period.
- Lens upgrades on richer plans: progressives, anti-glare, scratch and UV coatings.
- LASIK discounts included with many plans.
What vision plans include
Not just a prescription check: a comprehensive exam that screens eye health, which is often where conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure first show up.
Plans include a materials allowance you spend on glasses or contact lenses each benefit period. Frame allowances commonly renew every 24 months, lens coverage every 12.
Standard single-vision on basic plans, up through progressives, bifocals, and specialty lenses with anti-glare and UV coatings on richer ones.
In-network, you show your member ID and the discount happens at the counter, no claim forms. Out of network, you submit the receipt for reimbursement up to plan limits.
Small premium, every-year payoff
Vision is the cheapest line in the bundle and the one a family with glasses uses the most. One exam plus one pair of glasses typically costs more out of pocket than a whole year of coverage.
For kids, it matters twice: classroom vision problems are one of the most commonly missed reasons grades slip, and an annual covered exam catches them.

Quick answers
Glasses or contacts: does the plan cover both?
The materials allowance typically applies to one or the other per benefit period. If different family members prefer different things, that is fine: each member uses their own allowance their own way.
How often do benefits renew?
Exams every 12 months, lens coverage typically every 12 months, and frame allowances commonly every 24 months. We will walk you through the exact schedule of the plan you pick.
Can I use it at retail optical stores?
Most plans carry large national networks that include the major retail optical chains. Tell us where you like to shop and we confirm it is in network before you enroll.
When can I enroll?
